Item Air flow resistance of polyamide 12 made by selective laser sintering(2019) Bogojevic, Nebojsa; Muharemović, Nusret; Radičević, Branko; Vranić, Aleksandar; Ciric-Kostic, SnezanaThis paper presents the measurements of the air flow resistance of polyamide 12 samples made by selective laser sintering. The results have shown that, due to the porosity of the microstructure, the samples with thickness smaller than 1.7 mm cannot be considered airtight, while the samples with thickness 2.2 mm are airtight. The airflow resistance of the samples that allow airflow increases with air speed.Item Application of artificial neural networks for estimation of the mass of the waste powder during selective laser sintering(2019) Šoškić, Zlatan; Tomić, Jelena; Drvar, Nend; Monti, Michele; Cardu, MarcoThe paper presents results of the efforts to improve the accuracy of cost calculation of the selective laser sintering technology using an artificial neural network as a tool for estimation of the mass of the waste powder, based on the masses of the powder that will be, and the powder that will not be, built into products during a production process.Item Effect of the position in the build chamber on the fatigue strength of DMLS produced maraging steel(2020) Croccolo, D.; De Agostinis, M.; Fini, S.; Olmi, G.; Paiardini, L.; Robusto, F.; Ćirić Kostić, Snežana; Bogojevic, NebojsaPrevious studies investigated the effects of build orientation, allowance for machining, heat and surface treatments on the fatigue response of DMLS produced Maraging steel. This work focuses on the potential effect of the position of the built part in the chamber on the generation of powder residuals and consequently on the fatigue strength. The retrieved S-N curves indicate the response keeps unaffected by this factor.
