dc.description.abstract	This paper presents some considerations about the impact of intelligent decision support systems as modern tools that enable not only increasing the efficiency of decision-making process but also the quality of business decisions that are being made. Considerations relate to the wider field of information technology application in terms of supporting complex business problems solving with the ultimate purpose of achieving the desired state of the system. The paper presents some of the characteristics and possibilities of such information technology support in the function of improving the quality of managerial decision-making.
