Abstract

Given that in recent years in the Republic of Serbia there has been an increase in accommodation facilities and accommodation units, on the one hand, and an increase in the number of guests (domestic and foreign), on the other hand, the main focus of this paper is directed to the agreement on catering services. Bearing in mind that this contract is not regulated by law, the rules contained in the Special Usances in Tourism are analyzed, taking into account both comparative legal solutions as well as domestic and foreign court practices. The aim of the research is to clarify the specific legal nature and characteristics of this contract through analysis of the rules on conclusion of the contract, duration and cancellation of the contract, rights and obligations of the contracting parties, caterers' responsibilities and termination of the contract.
