The fundamental purpose of diversification is to ensure the growth and stability of farmers' businesses and to contribute to the rural development. The main objective of the paper is to identify factors of diversification and their correlation with socio-economic indicators. In addition to determining the extent to which they are present in improving the performance of agricultural enterprises and affect rural development.
