Regarding this, the objective of this paper is acquainting investment public in Serbia with the basic characteristics of real estate investment trusts and the importance of real estate investment trusts specialized for investing in hotels. The development of the hotel sector of Serbia will be accelerated and significant contribution to increasing the capacity of domestic hotel in the future can be provided by the establishment of these funds.
